A 37-year-old woman, Mrs. Chioma Blessing Nwaka (née Anieche), set ablaze by her husband, has been laid to rest last weekend in her husband’s hometown of Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The domestic violence which occurred on January 21, 2025, sent shock waves across the community and the social media space, as she died the following day, January 22, 2025, from severe burns.
Late Mrs. Nwaka hailed from Oraifite, while her husband, Obiozor Nwaka, is from Abagana, both in Anambra State.
She is survived by her five young sons, her husband and relatives.
