The Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Onoriode Oborevwori has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his giant developmental strides in the state especially in sports since his emergence as Governor of the state 3 years ago.
A statement by Mr. Oborevwori said the governors impressive performance in the last three years was a testament of his focused leadership and determination to take the state to higher pedestal.
The Sports Commission Chairman averred that Governor Oborevworis investment in the sector especially in the area of welfare for both athletes and officials as well as the variuos renovations and restructuring of sporting venues including the Warri City Stadium has further cemented the state as the undisputed sporting powerhouse in Nigeria.
He stated that thee governor through his MORE Agenda has also created opportunities for teeming youths in the state stressing that this had helped in giving youths in the state the platform to achieve their dreams.
He assured the governor of the continued support from the member and stakeholders in thee sport sector as he continues to pilot the state to enviable heights adding that the State Sports will not relent in winning laurels for the state in both national and international competitions.
