Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has led a high-powered delegation to Madina, Saudi Arabia, for the funeral rites of the late elder statesman and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
Governor Yusuf was accompanied by his Jigawa State counterpart, Governor Umar Namadi, as well as the Emir of Kano, His Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The presence of the two governors and the Emir at the funeral underscored the late Aminu Dantata’s towering influence, not just in Northern Nigeria but across the nation and beyond.
The delegation paid their last respects and offered prayers for the repose of his soul in the holy city of Madina.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a patriarch of the famous Dantata family, was widely known for his philanthropy, business acumen, and lifelong contributions to national development.
