The Asaba elders will on Monday, June 30, 2025, commence another round of Isu-Ofor against Cultism, Drug Peddlers and Kidnapping in Asaba Ujom.
A statement from the Chairman of Asaba Special Taskforce On Cultism, and Odogwu of Asaba, Obi Agbogidi Nwanze Oduah, said the event is scheduled to hold at the Asaba Ogbeke Square, at 7am.
The statement has invited the public to the Isu-Ofor Ceremony, which is powered by the Asagba Of Ahaba, HRM Professor Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, in Collaboration with the Executive Chairman Of Oshimili South Local Government Council, Hon. Dr Obi Kelvin Ezenyili.
it stated that Asaba Kingdom has remained a peaceful community for centuries and will always be known as such.
According to the statement, the last Isu-Ofor was solely against Cultism but owing to the incessant use of illicit drugs and high rate of Kidnapping, the elders decided to include Drug Peddlers and Kidnapping.
