Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has been applauded for his visionary efforts in developing the Solution Fun City in Awka, describing the park as the largest of its kind in West Africa

Some notable indigenes of the state gave the commendation during the official opening of the Fun City at Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Those who spoke in an interview including the Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefoh, said the project was aimed at making Awka a leisure park for the Southeast, adding that it will contribute to the economic development of Anambra State.
Dr. Mefoh said the comprehensive and unique leisure park with major components including family fun centre, amusement and water parks, international country club, aligned with Governor Soludo’s vision of building a prosperous homeland where people could live, work and relax.
He said the leisure park will generate huge revenue for the state government, which will be used to establish more of such projects in Anambra South and North senatorial districts.

Also speaking, the former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chukwudi Orizu commended Governor Soludo for building such a project, saying that the park’s impact would transcend the Soludo administration.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Dr. Ossy Onuko, expressed confidence that the facility would boost tourism, create jobs, and position Awka as a must-visit destination in Nigeria and beyond and sued for support for Governor Soludo at the November 8 Anambra governorship election.
