‎Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi Attracts Ultra-Modern Female Hostel‎



‎ The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Unizik Awka, Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, has successfully attracted an ultra-modern female hostel from the Paul Erinne Foundation.

‎During the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation in her conference room, Prof. Arinze-Umobi commended the donor and founder of the Foundation, Brother Paul Erinne, for his humanitarian activities and appreciated him for extending his kind gestures to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

‎ Recalling their childhood days when they lived in the same area, with their parents working together in the same school, Paul Erinne said he wanted to cement their long-established relationship, hence his donation of the ultra-modern female hostel.
‎ Erinne reflected on his humanitarian service over the years and expressed his commitment to contribute to the welfare of Nigerian students.


‎The ultra-modern female hostel will feature 100 fully furnished rooms for 200 students, 24/7 power supply, high-speed WiFi, modern kitchen and laundry facilities, study and relaxation lounges, top-notch security and CCTV surveillance, and an accessible location.

‎During the foundation stone-laying ceremony, Paul Erinne Foundation gave an assurance that the project would be completed within one year and would be free for occupants, with only minimal charges for maintenance fees, if necessary.

‎The event was witnessed by the management team of the university.
