The official launch of Abia State Integrated Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Acceleration programme (AIWAP), has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 15th July 2025 .
A statement signed by the Commissioner Abia State Ministry of Power and Public Utilities, Engr. Ikechukwu Monday says the event will hold at the flagship modern Sanitation facility at Okigwe Park Umuahia, at 10.00am prompt.
According to the statement, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti(OFR), would also flag off the rehabilitation works at CKC Phase 1, Aba Regional Water scheme
The flag off will take place at the St. Joseph’s college, No.4 Obohia Road, Aba, at 11:00am.
The statement has urged all to be seated before the arrival of the Governor.
