Nigerian singer Reekado Banks has warned upcoming musicians of a powerful figure in the music industry who, according to him, has been taking advantage of young talents.
In an interview with podcaster Esther Oye, Reekado claimed that the individual in question has worked with many upcoming artistes, only for them to later experience unusual setbacks and chaos in their careers.
Although he declined to name the person, the singer stated that the man is well aware of his actions.
Reekado urged rising stars to be cautious and stay informed so they don’t fall victim to the same traps.
He noted that his own experience with the man was unpleasant and hinted that others in the industry have also faced similar issues.
