The Police Service Commission, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, has announced a fresh opportunity for candidates who missed earlier screening appointments in the ongoing Police Constable Recruitment exercise.
This is contained in a statement signed by Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications.
The screening exercise is currently taking place at the Delta State Police Command Headquarters, Okpanam Road, Asaba, and is scheduled to run from Tuesday, April 7 to Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. daily.
According to officials, the exercise is specifically for candidates in four categories: those who missed their initial screening dates; those whose application forms were marked “qualified” but did not receive screening invitations; candidates who received invitations without assigned dates or centres; and those issued appointment letters but are yet to be screened.
Authorities have directed all affected candidates to report immediately to the designated venue for physical and credential verification.
For inquiries, candidates are advised to contact senior officials including Deputy Commissioner of Police Rita Emesim of the NPF and Barrister Anthonnette of the PSC through the provided telephone lines.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged all qualified candidates of Delta State origin to take advantage of the extended screening window and participate promptly in the exercise.
Candidates who have already completed their screening have been advised to disregard the announcement.
This development is part of ongoing efforts by the authorities to ensure that no eligible candidate is left out of the recruitment process.
