Asaba, Nigeria — In a vibrant display of tradition, talent, and pride, students of the Noble Academy Asaba took center stage at the annual Cultural and Praise Day, held at the DBS Asaba Event Centre, celebrating the richness of Nigeria’s cultural tapestry.
Parents were urged to instill values of unity, discipline, and cultural pride in their children, a charge delivered by Mr. Michael Isichei, who chaired the occasion. Praising the school’s steadfast commitment to promoting cultural awareness, Mr. Isichei encouraged students to embrace their roots through music, dance, and exemplary character, all while striving for academic excellence.
“This event is more than a celebration; it is a platform for our young people to reconnect with their heritage and showcase the beauty of our traditions,” Mr. Isichei remarked.
The school’s Director, Dr. Simeon Onakughotor, described the event as a vivid opportunity for students to bring Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage to life. Expressing satisfaction at the creativity on display, he called on parents to actively support their children’s talents.
For Principal Mr. Ngozi Odigwe, cultural education is central to the school’s ethos. “By embedding cultural awareness in our curriculum, we are nurturing confident, responsible learners who appreciate their roots,” she said.
