Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum has assured Returnee – residents of Mallam- Fatori, headquarters of Abadam local government of continued support as they settled down in their ancestral home after spending years in Niger Republic as refugees.
Governor Zulum gave the assurance when he paid one day official visit to Mallam-Fatori town to commiserate with the military and civilian population following terrorists attack on the community .
The visit to Mallam – Fatori, on the fringes of lake chad was part of continued efforts of Governor Zulum at building resilience of the military and the civilian population in the wake of surge in violence attacks by the terrorists.
Governor Zulum met with the officers and men of the 96 Battalion during which he commiserated with them over the Terrorists’ attack which claimed the lives of scores of soldiers and civilians in the community .
