APC WARD 7 Issele-uku Holds Strategic Meeting

…as Nwaobi, Ashiedu, Others, Harp on Unity and Peace

‎The need for Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC Ward 7 issele-uku in Aniocha North local government area to work as one united political family, was the crux of the ward meeting held at the issele-uku palace ground

‎The meeting which is the first since the defection of the entire state structure of the People’s Democratic Party,  PDP to the APC, was attended by key political leaders and stakeholders in the state who hitherto were politically divided, signaling the birth of a new political era in the area.

‎Addressing the gathered, a former Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation in the state and a stakeholder in the parry,  Dr. Anthonia Ifeanyi Ashiedu urged party members to shun divisive tendencies, and anything capable of disrupting the existing peace in the Ward and the party at large.

‎Dr.  Ashiedu described the meeting as a family gathering, noting that everyone had a role to play in building the party to enviable heights.

‎She encouraged all to queue behind the party leadership and work in unity of purpose for the advancement of Ward 7, even as she assured them that the dividends of democracy would not elude them.

‎The member representing Aniocha North in the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman of all majority leaders in Nigeria, Hon. (Engr.) Emeka Nwaobi PhD,   said Ward 7 is the largest ward in Aniocha North and with the new political movement,  the number had increased, strategically positioning the Ward for greater exploits politically.

‎Hon.  Nwaobi encouraged all former PDP members who have joined the APC to obtain their official membership registration to fully integrate into the party’s structure.

‎He urged all to work as a team, promising that no one would be left behind in the scheme of things.

‎The Chairman of the Ward, Mr Ifeanyi Monye, said he was glad to receive the enlarged gathering of indigenes, and advised party loyalists to remain committed to the goals of the Renewed Hope For MORE agenda.

‎ A former Council Chairman in the area and Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, Chief Jaunty Mike Okwudi, Dr. Cyprian Ashibuogwu, and others who spoke, expressed optimism that Ward 7 would become the cynosure of all eyes, given the calibre of leaders in the Ward.

‎The meeting was also attended by Comrade Chukwueweniwe Nicholas Ojei, Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties; Mr. Mike Osionye, Former APC Public Relations Officer; Hon. Nkem Osu, Former Chief Press Secretary to the Former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Louis Obiajulu Ebegbuna, Former PDP Ward Chairman/Supervisor, Finance ANLG; Hon Uzoma Iweka, Deputy Leader, ANLG Legislative Arm; Hon Oseloke Okeleke, Councillor; Pastor David Onwamaeze, Party’s LGA Secretary; Hon Frederick Nwaojei, Former Leader of ANLG Legislative Arm; Mr Emmanuel Edeh, SSA to Governor on Political Matters; among others.
