Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of two new Commissioners and other key officials into strategic state positions.
The newly appointed Commissioners are Mr. Brave Oyinkoro Enodeh and Mr. Ogodo Emokiniovo Moses, who will serve as members of the Delta State Executive Council.
The Governor also approved the appointment of Mr. Cosmas Igbenije as a member of the Governing Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).
In addition, Mr. Joseph Obiananma Ojobu, SAN, Chief James Omanudhowho Obeowou, and Fun-Ebi Edonyabo, Esq. have been appointed as members of the Delta State Judicial Service Commission.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, the newly appointed Commissioners, the DESOPADEC Board member and members of the Judicial Service Commission will be sworn in on Tuesday, July 21, at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
The statement noted that the swearing-in ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m., while the appointees, their families and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
