The Delta State chapter of the Tinubu-branded Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) has solicited strategic partnership with the Delta Broadcasting Service as part of efforts to deepen public awareness of the Federal Government’s reform agenda.
The delegation, led by the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, was received by the General Manager of DBS Asaba, Mrs. Kristen Emetulu, alongside members of the station’s management team.
Speaking during the visit, Solomon underscored the critical role of the media in sensitising citizens to the policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu, particularly under the Renewed Hope Initiative.
He explained that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors serves as a grassroots mobilisation and communication bridge across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas, with a mandate to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda, combat misinformation, and connect citizens directly with government policies to ensure inclusive growth.
According to him, the programme is also designed to provide a platform for constructive dialogue, enabling communities to articulate their needs while strengthening feedback between the government and the people. He noted that the initiative aligns with President Tinubu’s commitment to building a responsive and people-centred government.
Responding, Mrs. Emetulu described the visit as timely, particularly at a period of policy transition, and reaffirmed the station’s readiness to collaborate in ensuring accurate and sustained dissemination of information on government reforms aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians. She also reiterated DBS Asaba’s commitment to professional broadcasting and responsible public enlightenment.
The visit featured the presentation of Tinubu-branded souvenirs to the management of DBS Asaba as a symbol of partnership and shared commitment to national development.
Both parties pledged continued engagement in the interest of the listening public.
