Unidentified gunmen have abducted a High Court Judge and former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Justice Ebiyerin Omukoro.
According to reports, the gunmen kidnapped the judge on Saturday evening outside a popular restaurant in the Ekeki area of the city.
Eyewitness accounts from Local residents said Justice Omukoro was accompanied by a relative at the time of the abduction.
The incident was confirmed by a Police spokesperson in Bayelsa State, Musa Mohammed, who noted that investigation was .ongoing.
