Martins Vincent Otse, a social commentator and activist, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has criticized billionaire heir, Kiddwaya, for requesting public donations to support victims of the recent attack in Yelwata, Benue State.
Kiddwaya had shared a post on X, urging Nigerians to contribute funds for the affected community, sparking widespread backlash, which prompted him to take down the post.
In his response, VeryDarkMan in a video posted on X, questioned the motives, saying that for someone known for flaunting his wealth to suddenly seek financial assistance from ordinary citizens, was ironical.
He said the reality star, Kiddwaya, should have personally funded the support if his concern was genuine.
VeryDarkMan further warned Non Governmental Organisations NGOs, against exploiting the crisis in Benue State by soliciting donations for food items, as the real problem remained insecurity.
The activist noted that he will only share his NGO’s account if community leaders set up defense groups and get approval for arms from the Inspector General of Police.
