Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has been honoured as Grand Patron of the Ibori Golf and Country Club, Asaba.
During a dinner marking the end of the 2025 Governor’s Invitational Golf Tournament, held in celebration of his 62nd birthday, the Governor thanked the club for the honour.
Governor Oborevwori described Delta’s victories at the National Youth Games and National Sports Festival in Ogun State, as proof of the state’s sporting strength, noting that his administration was committed to positioning Delta as a hub for hospitality, tourism, and sports.
He reiterated that Delta is an investor-friendly state, citing timely contractor payments and consistent development across the state.
The Governor also commended the organisers and sponsors for a successful event.
