During the wedding reception at the Emerald Events Centre in Uyo, on on Saturday, July 5, 2025, Lady Helen Obareki thanked the parents of the groom for the invitation, reflecting on how her mother, the late Pastor Patience Umo Eno, would have graced the occasion if she were still alive.
”Sometimes it is easy to make decisions in my office because I think about what my mom would have done. My mom, most certainly, would have loved to grace this occasion, that is why I am here. This is such a beautiful occasion and I am very happy to be a part of it. I want to thank you for having me and the office here,” she said.

I pray for blessings, you will have kids as many as you desire and there will be no delays, you will enjoy life’s blessings that come with marriage,” she prayed.
The Chairman on the occasion, Professor Usen Udoh, reminded the couple that marriage is a lifelong commitment built on God, love and mutual respect and prayed that their marriage would serve as a model marriage for others.
